For the sake of the environment and for the sake of others as well, we try to do our little bit in the huge task of protecting the environment. Regional and seasonal are therefore the keywords of our hotel’s philosophy. In our cuisine we consciously and carefully select our products in order to boost local farmers and winemakers as well as local agriculture. In this way we also reduce our carbon emissions by reducing the environmental impact of transport. Thanks to South Tyrol’s excellent public transport network, we also offer our guests a superb car-free holiday!

STRATEGIC POSITION AND FREE TRANSPORTATION
The Hotel Paradies in Marling is located in a strategic position and is very well connected with the regional public transport network. Marling is very close to the Thermal city of Meran and can be reached by bus and train in regular, short intervals. The bus stop is not far from the hotel. In this way our guests can make different excursions without using their car. Thanks to the motorway you can comfortably drive to our hotel and rapidly reach Meran or the provincial capital Bozen to do some shopping of sightseeing.
During your stay, you can leave your car parked in our newly renovated garage. Even without a car, you can reach the diverse towns in the Meran area easily and completely free of charge: we will give you the Meran Card at your arrival! With this card you can use all public transport throughout South Tyrol and various public cable cars for free and gain free access to over 80 South Tyrolean museums.
REGIONAL PRODUCTS
We only use selected regional and seasonal products that our executive chef Klaus Pircher together with the trainee Julian use with great devotion and taste. Our cuisine stands out for its local South Tyrolean products, such as fresh bread from the town bakery or sausages and cheese from local farmers. Homemade pasta and South Tyrolean specialties can be tasted during our show cooking as well: we regularly organize special gala dinners on the terrace.

At our Vinum Hotel we cultivate a particular passion for wine and this is shared by our sommeliers, mother Rosmarie and daughter Elisabeth, who are always glad to share their knowledge with interested guests. As Marling is officially recognized as wine-growing community, it offers the perfect location for a journey in the world of South Tyrol’s wines. Our selected wines come exclusively from local winemakers and can be tasted during our theme nights and wine tastings. In this way we sustain small, local producers and our guests can discover some South Tyrolean insiders’ tips.

Our long-time, hardworking personnel is now part of our Paradies-family. We lovingly call them our “fairies”, as their scrupulous housekeeping always grants a perfect, almost enchanted ambience for all our guests. Of course our meticulous fairies set a high value on eco-friendly and biodegradable cleaning products.
